Nam Huynh Dao (Kung Fail)

My very first Patreon request!

To grant the wish of one Eric Magers, a patron of mine, I am looking at Nam Huynh Dao, a Vietnamese based kung fu school (yes, you read that bit of inanity right) that is short on original footage or any speaking at all, but is long on killer dance moves.

Howdy hey, I’m Larsen Halleck and welcome back to Kung Fail. Today we’re going to Vietnam, the jewel of Southeast Asia. As an American who grew up in the 90s,and was exposed to the oeuvre of Stallone and Norris pretty much from infancy,I have always had a good amount of respect for Vietnam, and I feel most Americans do too, albeit in the “worthy opponent” sort of way. As the first country to give America an unambiguous military defeat, I have always considered the Vietnamese as a fierce and hardy people, and those who fought in Vietnam feel the same way as well…but if you want to see that image go COMPLETELY out the window…WOOOOOH!

…Apparently, one student of Nam Huyn Dao, Trey Woodford, went on to become an instructor with…the Konigun ninjutsu schools?

Oh god, I’ve been doing this way too long.

…Okay, here’s the second video and…odd choice of music there.Dixieland jazz is what I think of when I think of Vietnam!

Well at least that explains his dancing from earlier-hamboning!
