Hiatus

Hello my fans. Yes, that says “hiatus”, you are not reading that wrong. Sadly I am in fact taking a hiatus from work, but not for any negative reasons. You see, I am not pulling a Spoony and dissolving into a morass of drug-addled apathy and shirking of my responsibility due to nebulously defined “burnout”. I don’t feel that way at all—I love and appreciate all my fans, and I love making content for you. And I want to do more of it. If I could I would make videos every day. But I just can’t make videos and internet content right now, again not for any negative reasons—no, if anything, the most positive reasons.

For you see, me and my lovely Vita, who viewers are well familiar with…are now engaged to be married. As joyous an occasion as this is, it presents a new conundrum in my life: For while I have made more than enough money for myself (living a voluntarily austere and Spartan lifestyle to save a substantial amount of my paycheck a month), I fear that I just don’t make enough to support a wife or a family—-and I do specify family since that it is definitively a long term goal of mine.

You fans are certainly a priority, but as of now my loftiest goal is to be able to take Vita Bathory as my wife. And while I do appreciate your adclicks and patreon donations and purchases of my books…it’s just not enough. So I have to hunker down and utilize the time I would be using to make videos and articles and music and what have you into applying for normie jobs that pay well.

When will this hiatus end? I can’t say—it could end tomorrow, a week from now, who knows? It will end when I secure a “breadwinning” job. And of course, if every one of my subscribers just gave me one dollar on patreon, then I could get back to it immediately HINTHINT *AHEM* In seriousness, All I can guarantee is that I will look for this job with the same regularity and dedication I give to researching and making content for you people.

This is not a permanent goodbye. I guarantee I’ll come back some time. With more financial backing, bigger and better than ever before. I’m Larsen Halleck, and I shall return.
